BMO Harris Bank - 9210 W. North Ave.

The Wauwatosa Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying and apprehending a bank robbery suspect.

 

On January 27th, 2017 at 4:09pm, a male subject walked into the BMO Harris Bank, 9210 W. North Ave.  The subject approached a teller, handed the teller a note indicating this was a robbery and demanded money.  The subject obtained money and fled from the bank.  No weapon was displayed.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, 5’09” to 6’00” tall, 160-180 pounds, with brown hair and blue or gray eyes. 

 

The suspect fled the area in a late 90’s blue or purple Chevy Cavalier with blue dealer plate on the back.

 

 

Citizens with information are asked contact the Wauwatosa Police Department at 414-471-8430, OR anonymously contact Wauwatosa Crime Stoppers, 771-TOSA (8672), OR anonymously Text-a-Tip to “crimes” using keyword “tosa” – You may be eligible for a cash reward.

Between the evening of May 29th and early morning of May 30th unknown suspects smashed out a vehicle window in the 1300 Blk. N. 74 St. and stole over $2,000 worth of new skate boards and shoes from the interior.  The vehicle and property belonged to a local business owner who has long been a supporter of the community.  Let`s help prevent other citizens from being victimized.  If anyone has information regarding this crime or recognizes the property shown please contact the Wauwatosa Crime Stoppers.  Remember, you can remain anonymous.

3/16/2016 - Wauwatosa West Bomb Threat
On Tuesday March 14, 2016 an unidentified person reported a bomb threat at Wauwatosa West High School causing the school to evacuate and school cancelled for the day.  This is the second bomb threat reported at the school in less than one week.  If anyone has information regarding this crime please call the Wauwatosa crime Stoppers or text a tip to "crimes" (keyword "tosa")  Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward and can remain anonymous.

12/17/2015 - School Bomb Threat

On Monday, December 14, 2015, an unknown subject phoned in a bomb threat to Wauwatosa East High School.  This is a serious incident and once identified, the suspect(s) will be subject to the following penalties: arrest and referral for felony charges; expulsion from school district; 2 year`s suspension of driver`s license; a fine of up to $10,000; and his/her family will be responsibe for up to $20,000 in restitution.

Anyone with knowledge about this incident is asked to call, email or text Wauwatosa Crime Stoppers.  Information leading to the arrest is eligible for a cash reward or a new Ipad.  Callers can remain anonymous by calling 771-TOSA (8672) or send your Text to "CRIMES" and include the word "TOSA" in the message.
